Cards People Keep Hold Of
A business card gets judged in the first second — weight, finish, edge quality — long before anyone reads what's on it. A flimsy card says something about the business handing it over, and not the thing you want said.
We print on 450gsm silk and 350gsm uncoated rather than the 350gsm most online printers treat as their standard, with lamination, rounded corners, folded formats and same day dispatch available depending on what you need. Free UK delivery on every order.
Which Card Do You Need?

- Folded business cards — four panels in a standard 85 x 55mm footprint, supplied pre-folded. For appointment cards, loyalty schemes and mini menus. From 100 cards.
- Same day business cards — 450gsm silk, printed and dispatched the same working day if you order by 10am. From 50 cards.
Silk or Uncoated?
This is the decision that matters most, and it comes down to one question: will anyone write on them?
450gsm silk is smooth with a low sheen, holds colour well, and takes lamination. It's the heaviest card we offer and the one that feels most substantial in the hand. Choose it when the design is doing the work.
350gsm uncoated has no sealing layer, so the surface is matt and slightly textured, and takes pen cleanly. Colours print a little softer than on silk, which suits understated designs. Choose it for appointment cards, loyalty stamps, or anything that gets written on.
Lamination
Available on the main range in three finishes. Matt is flat and low-sheen, resists fingerprints, and suits most designs. Gloss deepens colour and flatters photography and bold blocks of colour. Soft touch is velvety and tactile — the one people comment on when you hand it over.
All three add durability so cards survive a wallet without scuffing. None of them take pen ink, so leave cards unlaminated if they need writing on.
Cards for a Whole Team
Our main range accepts up to 30 different name sets in a single order — same stock, same finish, different details on each. One order, one delivery, one consistent design across everyone.
Most printers make you place a separate order per person, with a separate minimum each time. If you're kitting out an office, an agency or a set of branches, this is the practical way to do it.
Turnaround & Delivery
Most cards offer a 1 working day turnaround alongside standard 3–4 day production. The first working day begins the day after your order is placed, and turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.
If you need them faster, same day business cards are printed and dispatched the same working day when you order by 10am with print-ready artwork.
Standard UK delivery is free on every business card order, whatever the type or quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.
Artwork
Cards are 85 x 55mm finished, so supply artwork at 91 x 61mm to include 3mm bleed on every edge. Work in CMYK at 300dpi or better, keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim, and outline or embed your fonts.
Free templates are available for every card type, including separate long edge and short edge versions for folded cards.
Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.
