Choosing the Right Flyer for the Job

Flyer printing is still one of the most direct ways to promote a business, event or service. Menus, handouts, mailers, event promotion, trade advertising, product launches — a well-printed flyer does a job that digital advertising often doesn't, because someone is physically holding it.

We print flyers in seven sizes on silk stock as standard, with laminated, uncoated and folded options for jobs that need something different. Runs from 25 up to 100,000, and free UK delivery on everything.

Which Flyer Size Do You Need?

• A4 (210 x 297mm) — the biggest flat size. Works as a flyer, a menu, or a lightweight poster.
• A5 (148 x 210mm) — the workhorse. Half an A4, big enough for a proper message, small enough to hand out or post. The default choice for most campaigns.
• A6 (105 x 148mm) — postcard sized. Good for vouchers, letterbox drops, appointment cards, and inserts where you're printing in volume.
• A7 (74 x 105mm) — our smallest. Built for discount cards, loyalty schemes and giveaway pieces where cost per unit matters.
• DL (99 x 210mm) — tall and slim, sized to fit a DL envelope without folding. The standard for direct mail and display racks.
• 148mm square — compact and distinctive. Stands out against standard sizes while staying easy to hand out or include as an insert.
• 210mm square — the design-led option. Room for photography and artwork without forcing a portrait crop.

Different Finishes

The size pages above are printed on silk, which suits most jobs. Three alternatives cover the ones it doesn't:

• Laminated flyers — gloss, matt or soft touch lamination on 250gsm to 450gsm silk, single or double sided. For menus, price lists and anything that stays in use rather than being read once and binned.
• Uncoated flyers — 90gsm to 350gsm natural stock with a matt, writable surface. For forms, appointment cards and anything with a pen involved, or a brand that reads understated rather than glossy.
• Folded leaflets — six fold types across seven sizes, 4pp to 8pp. When one flat side isn't enough space and a booklet is more than you need.

Paper Stocks

Standard flyer sizes are available on five silk stocks from 150gsm to 450gsm. Lighter weights suit letterbox drops and bulk handouts where volume matters; heavier weights give a card-like feel that holds its shape on a counter or in a display rack. All sizes can be printed single or double sided.

Turnaround & Delivery

Choose a 1 working day or 3–4 working day turnaround on any flyer size. The first working day begins the day after your order is placed, and turnaround covers production only — once dispatched, orders go out on a next day courier service.

If it's genuinely urgent, our same day flyer printing covers A4 down to A7 and DL, printed and dispatched the same working day when you order by 10am.

Standard UK delivery is free on every flyer order, whatever the size or quantity.

Artwork

Upload a print-ready PDF when you order, or send it later via a link after checkout. Free blank templates are available for the full Adobe Suite across every size and fold type.

Artwork should be CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed and no printer marks. Flat flyers are supplied as single pages; folded leaflets need to be supplied as spreads, since the leaflet is one flat sheet with creases in it.

Every file is checked by a real person before it goes to print, so obvious problems get flagged rather than printed. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork, so files should be supplied print-ready.
