Rectangle Labels on A4 Sheets

Full-colour rectangle stickers printed onto pre-cut A4 sheets, so each label peels off on its own, ready to use. Use them for product labels, jar and bottle fronts, return address labels, box labels, price labels and wraparound bands. The semi-gloss paper takes most pens, and the adhesive is permanent.

There are ten sizes, from a tiny 32 × 10mm to a 195 × 50mm band, and you can order from five sheets.

Sizes

For a jar or bottle, measure the straight part of the container, not its full height, and choose a label a few millimetres smaller so it doesn't crease over the curve.

How Many Labels Will I Get?

You order by the sheet. Divide the number of labels you need by the labels per sheet for your size, and round up.

Sheets or Rolls?

Sheets suit smaller runs and are easy to keep at a desk, post or hand out. If you're labelling 1,000 or more of the same product, compare the price of our stickers on a roll, which are quicker to apply in bulk.

These labels are paper, so they aren't waterproof. For anything that goes in the fridge, gets wet or is handled with oily hands, choose waterproof polypropylene labels on a roll instead.

What Goes Wrong, and Why

A thin white edge on the label. The sheets are pre-cut, and your design is printed onto them, so there's always a tiny variation between print and cut. The 1mm bleed covers it, but only if your background runs all the way into it on every side.

A printed border looks uneven. That same small variation makes a thin border look thicker on one side. Avoid borders, or make them thick enough that a slight shift isn't noticeable.

Text is cut off at the edge. Content was placed too close to the edge. Keep text and logos well inside the label.

Text is unreadable on small sizes. The 32 × 10mm label is only 10mm tall, so it takes one short line of text or a code. For more, choose a larger size.

A label creases on a jar. It's too tall for the straight part of the container. Choose a shorter size.

Labels peel off in the wet. They're paper. Use them on dry products and packaging, or choose polypropylene roll labels.

• Artwork set up at the size of one label

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Ordering, Turnaround & Delivery

Minimum order is five sheets of one design. For several designs, place a separate order for each.

Choose 1 working day or 3 working days. Turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.

What sizes are available?

How many labels are on each sheet?
From 95 per sheet at 32 × 10mm down to 4 per sheet at 140 × 94mm. See the size table for every size.

What size are the sheets?
A4.

Are the labels already cut?
Yes. The sheets are pre-cut, so each label peels off individually.

What's the minimum order?
Five sheets. At 32 × 10mm that's 475 labels. At 140 × 94mm it's 20.

Which size for return address labels?
54 × 22mm fits a name and a short address. For a full address with a logo, choose 60 × 30mm or larger.

Which size for shipping labels?
140 × 94mm, with 4 per sheet.

Can I have different designs?
Not in one order. Every label in an order is the same design. Place a separate order for each design.

What are they made of?
Semi-gloss paper with a permanent adhesive.

Are they waterproof?
No. They're paper. For waterproof labels, choose polypropylene stickers on a roll.

Can I write on them?
Yes. The semi-gloss surface takes most pens. Ballpoint and permanent markers work best.

Do they need bleed?
Yes, 1mm on every edge.

How long does printing take?
