Our same day compliment slip printing service means that if you order by 10am with print-ready artwork, we'll print your slips in-house and get them on the courier the same working day, for delivery the next. Free UK delivery included.

How the 10am Cut-Off Works

Both your order and a print-ready file need to reach us by 10am. It's a firm deadline rather than a guideline — the courier collects in the early afternoon, and the gap between those two points is the entire production window.

Anything landing after 10am goes into the following working day's run. A Friday morning order is printed and collected on Friday, arriving Monday.

The tight schedule means files have to be right first time. Every file still gets checked, but a missing bleed or an RGB image can't be resolved and reprinted before the van arrives. We'll get in touch if something's wrong, and the job will move to the next production day.

What You Get

• DL (210 x 99mm) — the standard compliment slip size, fitting a DL envelope without folding and sitting neatly alongside A4 paperwork.
• 120gsm uncoated — substantial enough to feel like proper stationery, and the surface takes pen cleanly for handwritten notes.
• Single or double sided, printed in full colour.

Available in 100, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 slips.

Single or Double Sided

Single sided is the usual choice. It keeps the slip clean and leaves the reverse free for a handwritten note, which is most of the point of sending one.

Double sided gives you room for extra branding, contact details, opening hours or a short message. Worth it if the slip is doing marketing work as well as courtesy, though it leaves no clear space for handwriting.

Why Only One Stock

120gsm uncoated is the weight most businesses land on anyway — noticeably better than copier paper, and the surface handles a pen without the ink beading or smudging. Restricting to a single stock is what makes a same day turnaround possible: it's always on the shelf and the press is set for it.

If you want 90gsm for something lighter, or 170gsm for a more premium slip closer to a card, our standard compliment slip printing covers both on a normal turnaround.

Artwork Requirements

Supply a print-ready PDF at 216 x 105mm — that's the finished DL size plus 3mm bleed on every edge. Work in CMYK at 300dpi or better, keep important content 3mm inside the trim, outline or embed fonts, and leave printer marks off.

A free template is available. On a rush job, missing bleed and RGB colour are the two things most likely to cost you the deadline — worth a check before you upload.

Delivery

Every order ships with free UK delivery, at any quantity. Slips go out on a next working day courier once printed.

What time do I need to order by?
10am, with a print-ready file supplied. Anything received later is printed the following working day.

Will they arrive the same day?
No. The printing and dispatch happen the same day, and a courier delivers the next working day. Collection from Burnley is the only way to have them in hand today.

What happens if I order on a Friday?
A Friday order placed before 10am is printed and collected that afternoon, reaching you on Monday.

What size are they?

What's the minimum order?

Can I write on them?
Yes. The uncoated surface takes pen and pencil cleanly without smudging or beading.

Can I have a different paper weight?
Not on the same day service. Our standard compliment slips are available in 90gsm, 120gsm and 170gsm uncoated.

What if there's a problem with my artwork?
We'll let you know, and the job moves to the next production day. There's no window to fix and reprint before the courier collects, so files need to be print-ready on arrival.

Is delivery really free?
