Stretch Fabric Rectangle Counter

An 800mm fabric counter with storage inside — up in ten minutes, delivered free.

A Counter With Room Inside

Four aluminium poles, a counter top and a base, with a printed stretch fabric cover that wraps all the way round. It's 800mm wide, 530mm deep and 1005mm high, weighs 10.5kg and takes up to 35kg on top, evenly spread. The inside is hollow, so you can keep leaflets, giveaways and bags out of sight.

The cover is dye-sublimation printed on 260gsm stretch polyester and tensioned by a silicone edge that tucks into grooves in the top and base, so there are no visible poles or seams from the front. Everything packs into one carry bag. Indoor use only.

35kg evenly spread covers a laptop, a monitor, product samples and stacks of brochures without trouble. Don't sit on it or lean your full weight on one corner.

Choosing Your Version

This is the decision that matters. Every version has the same frame and the same storage space inside. What changes is how you get to it.

Fully enclosed has no opening at all. The only way in is to lift the whole counter up and over whatever is inside. It suits stock you set down at the start of the day and don't need again until you pack up.

Rear circular opening has a round opening in the back of the graphic. It's always open, so it's the quickest to reach into, and it's for counters where the back faces your team rather than visitors.

Rear Velcro join closes the join at the back with Velcro, so you can open it when you need to and close it again. When it's closed, the counter looks fully enclosed.

Rear Velcro flap has an opening at the back covered by a Velcro flap, which keeps the contents hidden between uses.

If you'll be handing things out all day, choose a version with rear access. If you just need somewhere to hide boxes, fully enclosed is enough.

Rectangle or Oval?

Our stretch fabric oval counter is smaller (595mm wide) and lighter (6kg), but it's fully enclosed with no access from underneath, so it has no usable storage. Choose the oval for a light, compact counter to stand behind. Choose the rectangle if you want more worktop or somewhere to keep stock.

For the lowest-cost option, see Counta. To match a traditional pop up stand, see the pop-up counter.

What's Included

  • Four snap-and-screw aluminium poles
  • Counter top and base
  • Printed stretch fabric graphic for your chosen version
  • Gloves for fitting the graphic
  • Carry bag for the hardware and graphic

Putting It Up

One person can assemble it in 7–10 minutes.

  1. Snap together the two halves of each of the four poles.
  2. Screw the poles into the counter top and the base.
  3. Put the gloves on and slide the graphic over the unit.
  4. Turn the graphic so the join sits at the centre of the back.
  5. Press the silicone edge into the grooves on the top and base, working all the way round.

What Goes Wrong, and Why

The fabric wrinkles or looks slack. The silicone edge isn't fully seated somewhere. The edge does all the tensioning, so press it into the groove all the way round, top and bottom.

The join or opening faces the wrong way. The graphic has rotated while being fitted. Lift the silicone edge, turn the graphic until the join is centred at the back, and refit it.

Logos look stretched at the corners. The graphic wraps round the corners, and anything placed across them will distort. Keep front content inside the front area and side content inside the side areas on the template.

A design across the back join doesn't line up. Fabric moves slightly during printing, cutting and sewing, so the two edges never meet perfectly at the back. Keep detailed shapes away from the join.

You can't reach your stock. A fully enclosed counter means lifting the whole unit. If that's going to be a problem, order a rear-access version.

Cleaning and Replacement Graphics

Graphics are machine washable at 30°C without detergent. Dry completely before using or storing, or you'll get mildew.

The frame outlasts the graphic. Replacement graphics can be ordered on their own, so a new design means a new cover rather than a new counter. Old graphics can be recycled with other textiles.

Artwork Requirements

Use the template for your version: one covers fully enclosed and Velcro join, and there are separate templates for the circular opening and the Velcro flap. Templates come as PDF, Illustrator, InDesign and EPS, and they're at 100% of full size, so don't scale your artwork.

  • Front area: 550mm × 866mm. Put anything that must read clearly from the front here.
  • Side areas: 200mm × 866mm each. These suit web addresses, sponsor logos and other secondary content.
  • Background runs to the red bleed line. Anything beyond the side areas wraps round to the back.
  • Everything on the Design layer. The guides layer doesn't print, so check your exported PDF.
  • Fonts outlined, images embedded
  • No template lines, crop marks or colour bars in the final file
  • CMYK only. Dye-sublimation can't reproduce Pantone colours, so convert them before supplying.
  • PDF preferred, AI or EPS also accepted

Seams are sewn in black or white thread, whichever suits your design. Once fitted, the only visible stitching is the join at the back.

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3–4 working days. Turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all stretch fabric counter orders, whatever the quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available. More than one design across an order costs nothing extra.

Pair it with our stretch fabric economy stands behind for a complete display in matching fabric.

How much weight can the top take?
35kg, evenly spread.

How heavy is it to carry?
10.5kg.

Can I store things inside?
Yes. It's hollow. On the fully enclosed version you lift the counter to get in. The circular opening, Velcro join and Velcro flap versions give access from the back without moving it.

Which version should I choose?
Choose a rear-access version if you'll need things from inside during the event. Choose fully enclosed if you only need to hide boxes out of sight.

How long does it take to put up?
7–10 minutes for one person.

Where does the seam go?
There's one join, and it sits at the centre of the back when the graphic is fitted correctly.

How big is the front print area?
550mm × 866mm, with a 200mm × 866mm area on each side.

What scale are the templates?
100% of full size. Don't scale your artwork.

Can I use Pantone colours?
No. Dye-sublimation prints in CMYK only, so convert Pantone colours before sending your file.

Can I use it outdoors?
No. It's for indoor use only.

Can I wash it?
Yes, at 30°C with no detergent. Let it dry completely before storing.

Can I order a replacement graphic on its own?
Yes. The frame outlasts the graphic, so you can replace just the cover.

What's the minimum order?
One counter.
